Who we are
“ARK Group International bridges the funding gap for Small Growing Businesses, using blended finance to unlock grants, reduce risk, and attract investment for lasting impact.”
ARK Group International was set up to provide fundraising support for impactful Small Growing Businesses (SGBs) in the ‘missing middle’. Each business we support is contributing to solving a problem they are closely connected to and passionate about.
Our focus is on the provision of ‘disaggregated blended finance’. This is a unique model that enables the businesses themselves to access grants, utilise the grants to de-risk and become more ‘investment ready’, and – where necessary – leverage additional private finance.

Our effective approach to fundraising is built on three pillars: it is vision focussed, strategic, and journey based. We make a deliberate effort to channel resources towards credible businesses that are led by people closest to the problem being solved. This means we prioritise working with organisations that are founded and led by people from the settings they serve.
Our Services
The services we offer are primarily delivered through a range of subscription-based systems. Our diverse expertise allows us to be sector agnostic and work across a wide range of settings, including waste management, energy access, AgriTech, education and more. We also work directly with funders and investors to ensure their funds have sustainable impact, reduce grant dependency, and effectively leverage the additional capital businesses need.

The Leadership Team
Our leadership team comprises seasoned professionals with expertise in business development, grant funding, investment strategies, and international development. They are committed to driving change and ensuring funding reaches the right businesses.
Joevas Asare is the Founder and Managing Director of ARK. He is responsible for strategic oversight. He is passionate about creating systems that help businesses grow beyond grant funding and empower UK-Africa diaspora to be key private sector investors that drive development.
Radhika Sanyal is the Assistant Director at ARK. Her responsibility at ARK is ensuring operational scalability, whilst deepening the relational value add ARK brings to our partner businesses. She is an engineer and development expert, with a passion for waste management and business development.
Felix Edwards is the Director of Partnerships at ARK. He is responsible for ensuring ARK continues to build partnerships that adds value in the ecosystems we serve. He is passionate about education for development and seeing sustainability of impact.
