Funding Description
Birmingham and Black Country Communities Fund grants are awarded from the earnings of a number of endowment funds, which are created from contributions by individuals, companies and trusts and managed by Heart of England Community Foundation. Applications must meet one of the following aims: Promote health and wellbeing, Tackling disadvantage, Support local solutions to meet local needs, Promote community cohesion, Develop sustainable and supporting communities
Eligibility Information
You can apply to this fund if you are one of the following:
• Registered charities
• Constituted Community groups
• Companies Limited by Guarantee with charitable aims
• Community Interest Companies**
• Co-operatives - registered Community Benefit Societies and
registered Industrial and Provident Societies
• Social Enterprises
**Funding to Community Interest Companies and other non-charities may include conditions to restrict funding to charitable objectives only.
• Additionally, your organisation/company income level must be equal to or less than
£500,000, as shown in your most recent annual accounts.
