Funding Description
The Trusthouse Charitable Foundation is a grant making foundation giving grants to small and medium sized local organisations in the UK with a demonstrable track record of success working to address local issues in communities of extreme urban deprivation and deprived rural districts. The funding is available to charitable organisations, including social enterprises, not-for-profit registered companies, and voluntary groups, across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It targets small to medium-sized UK-based organisations with a proven track record of success in addressing local issues in communities facing extreme urban deprivation or deprived rural areas. The funding can cover a range of costs, including revenue costs, core costs, salaries, and both running and project-related expenses.
Eligibility Information
To be eligible for the major grants programme, organisations must be based in the UK and have been operating for at least a year. They must be able to provide their most recent annual accounts. If they’ve applied within the past 12 months, regardless of the outcome, they can apply again. Capital grants are not eligible for funding. Organisations must be deeply embedded in the community they serve and provide details about their location. Additionally, organisations should have reviewed their Safeguarding policy or completed refresher training within the last year. The application will also require information about the organisation’s total annual income, as reflected in the latest accounts.
Organisations should have a focus on Family Support, this may further include:
