Funding Description
The grant funding initiative is designed to support projects and organizations working towards creating a fairer, more sustainable economy. In the face of significant challenges, such as the dominance of a self-serving financial system, worsening climate breakdown, and growing inequality, there is no shortage of ideas and solutions within the UK. However, these ideas often struggle to take hold due to various barriers. The current grants programme aims to explore and address these obstacles, supporting efforts that can drive meaningful change and help shift the economy toward a more equitable and sustainable future.
Eligibility Information
The funding supports projects and ideas that work towards building a 4D economy, addressing the needs of those most affected by economic changes, and tackling the root causes of issues within the current economic system. Projects should have the potential for replication and wider impact. However, funding is not available for activities outside of the UK, individual grants, general appeals, or employability/training programmes. The promotion of religion, pure research (unless commissioned), or the expansion of existing ideas also falls outside of eligibility. Additionally, service delivery projects such as the development of community centers or activities directly benefiting employers or industry are not funded.
