This funding supports new or existing partnerships serving communities in England. Typically, funds are awarded to the lead organization in a partnership, which can then distribute payments to other partners for their contributions. If the partnership does not have a lead organization, funding will be provided separately to each individual organization. To apply, all partners must be one of the following types of organizations: a constituted voluntary or community organization, a registered, exempt, or excepted charity, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (with an asset lock clause), a Community Interest Company (CIC), a school, a statutory body (including local authorities or community councils), a community benefit society, or a co-operative society (with an asset lock clause and registered with the Financial Conduct Authority).
