Eligibility Information
To apply for funding, your organization must be a non-profit with its own governance document, such as a constitution, and can be either a registered charity or not. You need to provide a copy of your governing document (including an asset lock for community interest companies), your most recent annual accounts or a financial plan if new, a recent bank statement (within three months), and your safeguarding policies. Financially, you should have clear reserves (preferably 3-12 months' worth), or demonstrate healthy cash flow, along with appropriate financial procedures, including at least two unrelated signatories for payments. Your organization must also have at least three unrelated trustees, committee members, or directors. If you're working with vulnerable groups (children or adults), you need to identify who leads safeguarding on your staff and board. Additionally, you must show that you've considered the environmental impact of your project, including actions to minimize harm and any support needed in this area.
